establish a
friction
match
stick
factory in
Denmark
the
22nd
of
November 1837
.
Initially
got
Hellmann
refused
because
the factory
inspector, who
was
responsible for
the approvals of the
new
factories
thought that this was
too dangerous
a production
.
Hellmann
searched
again
in 1838
,
this time for
company
B.
Hellmann
&
son
,
stating
that
he intended toplace the factory
on the
island of Amager.
On 23
April 1839
Hellmann
got a royal
license to operate
a
friction
match
stick
factory
, as he
can
get
the authorization when
he has given
and
received approval for
the exact
address.
Hellmann
never went
back
and the factory
was not
established.
